Distribution Business Development Specialist - Automotive - Lubricants/Oil

What you will need:
- 10 years national distribution, logistics and supply chain experience in the lubricant or automotive industry.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel mandatory)
- Must be able to travel 75%. This will include overnight travel. Travel will be by car and plane throughout the USA.
- Strong business, organizational, planning, negotiation and project management skills.
- Strong financial and cost analysis skills.
- Hands on experience with managing a distributor network and accompanying logistics and supply chain issues.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in integrated Enterprise Resource Planning systems, distribution software and integration with customer systems.
- Experience with lubricant distribution, sales or marketing
- Experience in automotive or other vehicle after-market distribution programs.
What you will be doing:
- Developing and managing a new distribution network for bulk and packaged automotive, motorcycle and industrial lubricants.
- Responsible for distributor contract management, logistics and supply chain planning.
- Managing business process and transactions for distribution activities for the complete supply chain including product.
- Determining distributor territories.
- Implementing an Equipment Management program including lease/purchase options, installation, maintenance and buyback programs.
- Working with Material and Logistics personnel on logistics, supply chain, transportation and inventory issues related to distribution.
- Performing financial, cost and feasibility analysis related to supply chain logistics.
