Job Description

A Transportation Industry client located in Evansville, IN., is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Infrastructure Analyst. The scope of the position includes supporting approximately 20 remote locations, many of which have no IT support, and a total of 1350 PC's and 200 Windows servers.

REQUIREMENTS:

B.S. degree in Computer Science or similar field.


Minimum five years experience supporting Microsoft Server products.


Advanced technical certifications such as Microsoft MCSE and/or MCDBA.


Experience maintaining a SOX compliant multi-tier development platform.

Experience supporting a majority of the following products/technologies and performing the listed tasks is highly desirable:

SQL Server - Installation and Maintenance (Setup server, manage security), Deploy projects, Write basic SQL statements, QA stored procedures, Basic normalization techniques, Architecture.

Windows OS - Installation and Maintenance (Win XP, Vista, Server 2003, 2008), Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0, Understand Vista/2008 Licensing model (KMS server vs. MAK), Update/upgrade.

Virtualization - Windows 2008 Virtual (Hyper-V), Windows Virtual PC 2007 and previous versions, VMWare ESX Infrastructure.

Microsoft Visual Studio - Installation, IDE configuration, and maintenance.

SCCM 2007 - Configuration and maintenance, Remote software/OS deployment.

SAN - Architecture and configuration, Communication architecture and configuration.

SharePoint - Installation and Maintenance, Network Load Balancing techniques (NLB), Understand upgrade path for 2003 to 2007 or 2010, Understand inner workings to be able to troubleshoot (ie Team Sites, Areas, Sub-Areas, etc.).

IIS - Installation and Maintenance, APP Pools and their capabilities,

Setup Web Sites/Virtual Folders, FTP (Basic Understanding).

Dynamics AX - Installation and Maintenance, Troubleshoot code (basic), Defining, implementing and enforcing security models, Promotions, User setup.

SQL Reporting Services - Installation and Maintenance, IIS understanding, SQL Understanding.

Exchange 2007 - Configuration and maintenance in a multi-site environment.

Active Directory - 2000, 2003, 2008, Trust relationships, DNS, DHCP, WINS, GPOs, Delegation, NTDSUTIL, PowerShell, VB Scripts (Logon Scripting).

Sarbanes-Oxley Procedures - Maintain/Enforce appropriate separation of duties security roles, Ensure promotions are compliant with established procedures, Documenting all significant actions.

EventSentry, WhatsUp Gold, Best, TCM, VerticalNet, and HP Blade Servers

Salary of $80,000 to $90,000 with excellent benefits including relocation.
