Start your new year at Liberty Mutual as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) in our Personal Lines Claims division. As a Claims CSR, you'll provide exceptional service to our customers each and every day by completing First Notice of Loss, handling service calls on existing claims and addressing customer inquiries in a variety of areas. This role interfaces with customers, agents and third parties and requires exceptional listening and communication skills. It's a great place to launch your career!

Responsibilities:
  • Take inbound calls from customers related to policy/coverage, first notice of loss and existing claims on multiple personal lines of coverage by adhering to set up, coding, and handle time requirements.
  • Take First Notice of Losses on new claims, and move those claims through as much of the claims process as possible.
  • Must understand relationships between estimates, severities and bottom-line results.
  • Issue payment on glass and tow claims.
  • Use claims automation systems to fullest extent possible to ensure a quality experience within a target handle time.
  • Perform all responsibilities to achieve individual goals on quality, time and customer satisfaction results.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • Associate's degree or 1 year relevant work experience.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and focus.
  • Ability to influence customers to use preferred methods to expedite claims processes (drive in, PACE shop)
  • Concise and accurate documentation practices.
  • The ability to multitask, talk-type during customer calls, typing at 25 words per minute.
  • This role requires the use of multiple claims automation and related systems, some DOS and some windows-based, applications/systems aptitude is a must.
